So Many Years I Didn't Know It Was Dark
By Feng Xin-ming (Cantonese Rhyme and Rhythm)
                                          I lived so long in deepest forest dim
                                          I had forgotten the sun shone overhead.
                                          Then suddenly a ray of light had come;
                                          Though thick the thorns I rushed to find it out.
                                          Emerging I was shocked: so bright the sun!
                                          With squinting eyes I studied floating clouds.
                                          So many years I didn’t know it was dark;
                                          Now finally I grasped the world’s design.
