Poetry:
Hurrying on the Road
Writtin in Chinese then Translated into English By Feng Xin-ming
- December 2022
The sky is still in black; there's no one yet traveling.
I head off early to avoid the violent rain and storm.
Dried up leaves and dead brown branches fly across the road;
Mist and cloud scour across the moon's full face.
My wife and kids had told me to go some other day;
Unfortunately I fear the world may have upheavals.
Disregarding fiercenss of wind and vastness of road, I
Pull my cap, bend my head, lean ahead and hurry.
